Inspiring and supporting young people seriously injured through sport

Danny Cipriani

Danny has been a professional rugby player since 2006 playing in 199 games as a fly-half and fullback for Premiership sides Wasps and Sale and including a stint in Australia playing for the Melbourne Rebels.

Foundation Chief Executive Tommy Cawston spoke about recruiting Cipirani to Team Hambo "We are delighted that Danny has agreed to be an ambassador for the Foundation. We first met him many years ago at the Middlesex Sevens when he was just starting out with Wasps and ever since he has always supported Hambo and now the Foundation. He always attends our events and is a real pleasure to deal with and is clearly passionate about supporting the work we do.”

A regular attendee at Matt Hampson Foundation events, Cipriani has often spoken very highly of the work of the charity and promoted its work.
