Inspiring and supporting young people seriously injured through sport

Davy Herouin

In August 2015 I had a terrible accident in a triathlon which left me paralyzed from the chest down. Our family has always been active prior to the spinal cord injury and we are now trying to regain control of our life by doing things as a family but also keeping myself as healthy as he possibly can.

There is sport equipment out there for people with disabilities but these are at a cost which we cannot afford as all our expenses went towards the house adaptations. Thanks to my physiotherapists, we got in touch with the Matt Hampson foundation and were fortunate to meet their team. To our delight, the Foundation offered to purchase a handbike which will undoubtedly allow us to spend quality and healthy family time together.

Thank you Matt Hampson Foundation for this amazing support. We are looking forward to it arriving for our first ride and are forever grateful.
