The Matt Hampson Foundation Get Busy Living Centre
The Get Busy Living Centre is located in the heart of the beautiful Leicestershire countryside. This idyllic rural location provides the perfect setting for the home of the Matt Hampson Foundation.
The construction of the Get Busy Living Centre has been a long held personal ambition of Matt’s and is the culmination of years of planning, dedication and endeavour. The Centre is the Foundation’s focal point where people affected by life changing injuries can make use of the state of the art rehabilitation facilities, meet fellow beneficiaries and relax in peaceful surroundings.
Built on the site of an old aircraft hangar the Get Busy Living Centre nestles in the rolling landscape of Burrough-on-the-Hill near to Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Situated in the heart of England with excellent transport links to the rest of the country the Centre enjoys the benefits of a fantastic rural location whilst remaining accessible to beneficiaries from all over the country.
OUR BENEFICIARIES Support Built as the focal point for the Matt Hampson Foundation the Get Busy Living Centre provides a positive and supportive environment in which people who have been affected by a life changing injury can focus on their future. This is the place where people come to identify and work towards what they can and will achieve, to share their personal experiences and benefit from the advice of those who understand their unique challenges. With the opportunity to be assigned a mentor who has been affected by a similar injury the Centre provides an environment where people are inspired and supported to ensure that they Get Busy Living!
Relax The Centre is also a place to relax and enjoy the space, comfort and views that this amazing facility and location enjoys. The big screen TV’s in the social area regularly show sporting events or movies and there is often a Foundation Ambassador, Trustee or Patron making a visit.

The Centre is now fully open and we see beneficiaries 5 days a week, whether they are coming to socialise, use the gym or get rehabilitation with our Physio.
