The Midsummer Madness musical event last Saturday evening was a huge success.
Hundreds of people enjoyed the beautiful setting of Stone Lodge Farm in glorious weather. Many arrived from early afternoon to pitch their tents, enjoy picnics and relax in the sun. It was a great atmosphere with people of all ages enjoying themselves.
From 6pm we were entertained by some fantastic live bands who all gave their time for free. There was a great mix of music and something to cater for all tastes. The star of the show was Qunicy who had travelled all the way from Hong Kong to play with Locked Out. His guitar playing had the audience mesmerised and gained huge rounds of applause and cheers.
The food and service provided by The Wild Oven was absolutely superb and added to what was already a fantastic evening.
The bands played on into the early hours of the morning and many of the campers arrived for their bacon roll and cup of tea looking a little worse for wear!
We would like to thanks Tim and Sara Hercock for allowing us to use their home for the event, all of the helpers on the night, the bands and the sponsors of the event.
We would also like to thank everyone who attended for their support for The Matt Hampson Foundation.
