Inspiring and supporting young people seriously injured through sport

Sheffield Engineers Rugby Club - Movember

Sheffield Engineers Rugby Club have chosen the Matt Hampson Foundation as their club charity and are taking part in Movember as a whole club to raise money.

James Montgomery-Stuart the President of the club says "the main reason for supporting the Matt Hampson Foundation is because of the fantastic work they do. As University students all between the age of 18-24 we all could not think for a worse thing to occur than have a life changing sporting injury.
But through the work the foundation do do, it clearly makes a big difference on the lives of the people they help, something which we all wished should we be in the situation, we too could gain help from. We all agree that as role models go Matt Hampson is one of the most inspiring people to come from the sport we all love, so it seemed perfect to help raise money for his foundation. The final reason for choosing the foundation was because I am a Leicester Tigers supporter so had know about the foundation ever since its creation! We could not think of a better opportunity to grow a moustache and raise some money for such a fantastic foundation. "
