Inspiring and supporting young people seriously injured through sport

Rachael Dawson’s long locks to be donated

A trip to the hairdressers has seen horse lover Rachael Dawson raise hundreds of pounds for charity.

Rachael, 42, from Ely, hadn't had her hair properly cut for around 10 years up until Wednesday, when she finally plucked up the courage to lose her long locks.

But instead of her hair simply being discarded, she is donating it to the Little Princess Trust, which provides real-hair wigs to little boys and girls who have sadly lost their own hair through cancer.

Rachael is also raising money for the Matt Hampson Foundation, which provides support and treatment for anyone suffering from serious injury or disability, and has so far raised almost £500.
