Inspiring and supporting young people seriously injured through sport

Tim Hames to ride 50 miles for his 50th in aid of the Foundation

On May 2nd Mr Hames will complete 50 miles on his Hand Cycle to raise money for the Matt Hampson Foundation on his 50th birthday.

After being injured whilst cycling Tim became determined to continue an active lifestyle and so chose to continue his passion for cycling through the use of a hand cycle.

Now four years later he will take the challenge of 50 miles from the Foundations base near Melton Mowbray to the pharmacy in Uttoxeter where he works.

Tim said: "I just really wanted to raise some money back for a charity that has helped me so much and with my 50th birthday coming up I thought it was a great time to do it."
