Inspiring and supporting young people seriously injured through sport

Ambassador Laura Wright Raises Over a Thousand Pounds for the Foundation

Laura Wright took on a huge 115 Kilometre paddle board challenge over two and a half days in aid of the Matt Hampson Foundation.

Last weekend Laura and boyfriend Harry took on the Great Glen Valley Paddle in Scotland. The route passes through the famous Loch Ness and other numerous tourist attractions.
Speaking before the challenge Laura said “this is my first charity event for the Foundation and the Great Glen Valley Paddle seemed challenging enough! Harry and myself have both seen the devastating effects serious sports injuries can have on someone’s life”

At the time of writing Laura and Harry have raised £1,100 which will all be used to inspire and support seriously injured young people. Laura’s support is invaluable and we wish her well for the forthcoming World Cup where she will be singing the national anthems.

We’re also happy to report of no run ins with the Loch Ness Monster!
