Ben, one of the Foundation’s very first beneficiaries, is in the UK for the first time on a three week visit, having never been outside of Samoa before.
Ben was met at Heathrow Airport on Wednesday afternoon by Tommy and Paul of the Foundation as well as Ambassador Freddie Tuilagi. Ben has come over with carer Soma and friend Su’a.
Chief executive Tommy Cawston said “it’s great to have Ben over for the World Cup and to see Samoa play. Ben was one of our first ever beneficiaries and it is such a huge occasion for him to leave Samoa for the first time. We are all looking forward to Ben meeting Matt Hampson and I’m sure his experience whilst in the country will be unforgettable.”
Amongst various planned outings, Ben will watch Samoa play Scotland in Newcastle next week in Newcastle.
The Foundation hopes Ben enjoys his time in England!
