Inspiring and supporting young people seriously injured through sport

Eddie Ran the London Mini Marathon for the Foundation!

Foundation supporter Eddie raises over £1400 for the Foundation and set a new Personal Best time in the London Mini Marathon.

Eddie is 13 years old and is passionate about sport, not only does he play rugby for Rosslyn Park but he also competes in the London Junior Series Triathlon. His school (Knightsbridge School) put him forward to run in the trials to compete for Kensington and Chelsea in the London Mini Marathon.

Over the last few years he has realised that his talent for sport can help raise money and to date has raised about £5,000 for various causes which have inspired him.  He could not imagine a life without sport and he knows how important the amazing work that the Matt Hampson Foundation is so he decided to raise money for the charity while doing the Mini Marathon.

Eddie finished in a personal best time of 18.14 and raised an incredible £1,462.50 for the Foundation! He also managed to finish first out or everyone that ran from Kensington & Chelsea!

Well Done Eddie!
