Churston Golf Club Raises £7000 for the Foundation

Devonshire based Golf Club, Churston, raised £7000 for the Matt Hampson Foundation thanks to Club Captain Bob Phillips.

As Club Captain for 2016, Bob was able to choose the Foundation as his Club Captains Charity. The Foundation was then supported throughout the year at numerous events.

Foundation Chairman of Trustees Roy Jackson attended both Bob’s inauguration dinner and the Captains Golf Day which attracted Exeter Chiefs rugby stars Julian Salvi, Dave Ewers and Luke Cowan-Dickie. Also in attendance was Foundation Beneficiary Spencer Watts!

Bob and his wife Angela recently visited the Foundation at the Get Busy Living site to see exactly where the money raised will be going. Bob presented Chairman of Trustees Roy Jackson and Founder Matt Hampson with a cheque for £7000.

Thank you Bob and Churston Golf Club!
