Trustee Julian Evans Raises £60,000 Climbing Mount Everest!

Matt Hampson Foundation Trustee Julian Evans has raised an incredible £60,000 for the Matt Hampson Foundation and Bliss Baby Charity by climbing three quarters of Mount Everest.

Evans climbed to an altitude of 7045m on Everest’s North Col and Lhakpa Ri which is roughly three quarters of the altitude of the highest peak.

Last year Julian climbed the highest peak in Antarctica and has raised over £20,000 for the Foundation. Julian described Matt and the Foundation as a huge inspiration to him.

Julian was one of 7 climbers hoping to reach the North Col plus Sherpas and support crew in earlier this month and successfully reached the target altitude!

If you’d like to sponsor Julian and support the Foundation you can do so here

Foundation Chief Executive Tommy Cawston said "we are privileged to have Julian as a Trustee and representative of the Foundation. He truly embodies our ethos of Get Busy Living and continues to blow us away with his challenges!"

Congratulations on yet another incredible physical feat Julian!
