Inspiring and supporting young people seriously injured through sport

Beneficiary Spencer Watts’ MX Weekend Raises £9000

A charity Motocross weekend at Cusses Gorse raised over £9000 for the Matt Hampson Foundation.

The two day event organised by beneficiary Spencer Watts welcomed hundreds of riders to the course which is just outside of Salisbury.

Matt Hampson and Chief Executive Tommy Cawston visited the event on Sunday and got to see Spencer in action.

Chief Executive Tommy Cawston said “it is really inspiring to see one of our beneficiaries wanting to support the charity and help raise money that will go towards helping someone in a similar situation.”

The event is in it’s second year now and we are excited to hear if it will return again next year!

Spencer said "this is the second year I have done this event for the Foundation now and I can't believe how big it's getting year by year. I'm so happy to be part of such a life changing charity and to be able to have the opportunity to run an event each year there really is no better charity for the proceedings raised to go to, they're changing more & more peoples lives day by day."

Great work Spencer!
