Directors at Innes England, Peter Doleman and Matt Hannah, presented a cheque to the foundation during a tour of the recently completed centre. The cash injection will be put towards specialist equipment for the rehabilitation gym.
The firm, which has offices in Derby, Leicester and Nottingham, has contributed £2,500 to the Matt Hampson Foundation’s Get Busy Living Centre, a state-of-the-art facility at Burrough Court Estate, near Melton Mowbray, in Leicestershire.
Peter Doleman said: “This inspiring new facility will be invaluable for young people who have sustained life-changing injuries; we’re proud to show our support for such an important and worthwhile cause in our region.”
The Get Busy Living Centre, on the site of a former aircraft hangar, has been transformed into a facility where severely injured people can receive physical rehabilitation, spend time with their families and share experiences with other service users.
Tommy Cawston CEO of the Foundation, said: “We are so grateful to Innes England for this very generous donation. This sort of support allows us to continue to help our ever-increasing number of beneficiaries"
