Inspiring and supporting young people seriously injured through sport

Foundation Thanks Building Partners

Proud project partners from across the Midlands construction scene gathered on site at the state-of-the-art Get Busy Living Centre in Leicestershire this week (20th September) to celebrate its official completion.
The Matt Hampson Foundation’s Get Busy Living Centre, near to Melton Mowbray, has seen the transformation of a former aircraft hangar into a state-of-the-art facility for those who have suffered life-changing injury through sport, like former Leicester Tigers prop Matt in 2005.
70 businesses, many of them local to the centre, contributed to the build and representatives gathered at the centre to celebrate the completion of the centre, with both Matt Hampson and a number of former Leicester Tigers and England rugby players in attendance, including Trustee Graham Rowntree, George Chuter, Louis Deacon and Malcolm Foulkes-Arnold.

Matt commented “It was really nice to get everyone together and thank them all for making my dream a reality, the centre is something for everyone involved to be very proud of as it’s changing people’s lives on a daily basis."
The official opening of the Get Busy Living Centre will take place on 2nd October 2018 and our patron Mike Tindall will open the facility along with Hambo.
