Matt Hampson Foundation Get Busy Living Centre - Grand Opening

It really is busy at the Get Busy Living Centre at the moment. The Grand Opening will take place on Tuesday 2nd October so everyone at Team Hambo is working hard to get the place ready for the big day.
We cannot be more excited about officially opening our doors and welcoming everyone in to the Centre who has helped to make this once distant dream a reality.

Tommy Cawston sums it up;
“This has been years in the making. Hambo’s vision was to build a hub where people can come together and we have finally achieved that ambition. At times it felt like an impossible dream but a huge amount of hard work from countless, amazing people have helped to make it happen. It will be a proud day for the Foundation.”

Exact details of the Grand Opening will be released in due course. There are rumours of a traditional Samoan Umu being cooked up by some well-known rugby playing brothers to feed the masses. The usual faces from the Foundation will all be there as well as some very special guests including patron Mike Tindall who will officially open the Get Busy Living Centre.
The Grand Opening Event is the culmination of years of blood, sweat and tears and will be by far the biggest day in the Foundation’s History. We want to share it with as many people as possible including those who are unable to attend so keep a look out on our social media and website for updates!

Hambo’s drive and gritty determination have been pivotal to turning the Centre in to a reality.
“At the minute the whole team is definitely getting busy but it will all be worth it when we finally open this magnificent facility for real. Looking back at how we started running the Trust from pretty much a shed it’s unbelievable how far we have come. Opening the Centre is just the beginning for us now, there is so much more we can and will do.”
