Sirus Automotive is delighted to announce in 2019 we will be supporting the Matt Hampson Foundation, a charity set up to help people who have experienced catastrophic injuries. The aim of the Foundation is to provide both support, advice, and (or) treatment to anyone who has encountered a catastrophic injury from any cause, but particularly through participation in sport.
Matt Hampson, England Under 21 rugby player was injured during training in 2005. Since then Matt has battled to live as normal life as possible. Paralysed from the neck down, Matt decided to set up the Foundation so that other people who had also suffered catastrophic injuries had access to support and assistance.
Simon Pearson, Sirus Managing Director and Founder commented “We recognise the amazing work of the Matt Hampson Foundation, and as a business would love to offer our support. Having dedicated the last 15 years to designing innovative vehicle conversions for wheelchair users, we share our values with the Foundation, in our mission to offer support and solutions to people who have severe injuries or disabilities. We look forward to making a difference and working with Matt and the team”.
