Inspiring and supporting young people seriously injured through sport

9th annual Six Nations dinner

The Matt Hampson Foundation held it’s 9th Annual Rugby dinner at Battersea Evolution last night and it was the biggest and best yet!

Hambo was back in attendance after missing last years dinner and he led over 20 beneficiaries onto the stage during an emotional live performance of Search for A Hero by Heather Small to start the night off with a bang.

England rugby stars including Captain Owen Farrell and Head Coach Eddie Jones gave their insight into the Six Nations so far and were joined by a good number of the current England squad and coaching team to show their ongoing support to the Foundation.

Auctioneer extraordinaire Jonny Gould was on top form and raised in the region of £150,00 during the live auction.

A Q and A with our patron Mike Tindall, Joe Marler, Austin Healey, Adam Jones and Jim Hamilton topped off an enterprising evening for our 1000 guests.

If you would like to show your support to the Foundation please watch this video and follow the link to our latest Just Giving fundraising page.
