Müller Anniversary Games was back in the Olympic Park Stadium last weekend. What an awesome weekend it was showing casing performances from some of the world’s best athletes in track and field. Our very own Fundraising Support Executive & Beneficiary Liaison Paige was among them as she took to the start line and raced 100m in the T33/T34 final.
“Never have I been so excited to be back in the Olympic Park Stadium on that iconic track. I am incredibly proud to have competed. This year’s event was by far my favourite performance there to date. I absolutely loved every second! I achieved a huge seasons best by over 2 seconds! And finished in 3rd place such a fantastic atmosphere, the crowd were amazing!
I am massively thankful to all who have and continue to support me with my athletic adventure. The Foundation is an essential support to me from funding my racing wheelchair in 2015, to the present, enabling me to train at the Get Busy Living Centre, providing employment and promoting a positive lifestyle balance. For me to demonstrate “Get Busy Living!” to our beneficiaries and all who are involved with the Matt Hampson Foundation is wonderful, as a result I am able to be the very best version of myself and work hard to accomplish all my dreams and aspiration not only in athletics but life as well, living MURRAY’S MAZE. I am moving forward in the right direction, ecstatic for the rest of this racing season and future seasons to come!”
