Sunday 26th April should have been the day of the World Famous London Marathon, a huge day in the calendar for hundreds of charities all over the UK. The 2.6 Challenge has been created by the organisers of the London Marathon to help support Charities during the current pandemic.
The Matt Hampson Foundation like many charities has had lots of events cancelled and our income drastically reduced. We are calling on our amazing supporters to take part in the 2.6 challenge so we can continue to support our beneficiaries many of whom will have to remain in Lockdown for a considerable amount of time.
We want you to Join Team Hambo next Sunday 26th April in the #TwoPointSixChallenge . The 2.6 challenge can be anything you like but must include the numbers 2.6 or 26, so get creative and let’s have some fun with it. For everyone who sets up a fundraising page and completes a 2.6 Challenge we will send you a Get Busy Living Medal in recognition of your efforts.
Examples of 2.6 Challenges
Walk up and down the stairs 26 times
Juggle for 26 minutes of just 2.6 minutes
Run 2.6km or 26 times around your garden or 26 times up and down your street.
26 minutes of continuous passing and catching a rugby ball.
Put on some music and dance for 26 minutes
