Chris Nicholson a beneficiary of the Foundation recently completed 5 Marathons in 5 days raising £500 for the NHS.
Chris commented “As any person with a spinal cord injury will know our NHS staff are amazing. One way or another they have saved our lives.
So the idea was to challenge myself both physically and mentally and give back to the NHS via the NHS TRUST CHARITY.
I completed 5 marathons over the 5 days in my wheelchair on my rollers and it was quite simply my most stupid idea ever. My hands were sore, and my body was in bits!”
Thank you to everyone who donated and helped raise the money for the NHS. It was no sum like Captain Toms but every penny helps!”
Well done Chris another awesome achievement.
