The Barratt Foundation makes donation to support beneficiaries in wake of pandemic

Barratt Developments, the country’s largest house builder, has launched a new charitable foundation which has made a generous donation to our work. The company has long been a supporter of the charity and we’re one of just ten to be chosen by employees for support.

Tommy Cawston, CEO of the Foundation said: “We’re so grateful to The Barratt Foundation for this incredibly generous donation. Like many in the charity sector, we’ve had a really tough year which has been made even tougher as we are unable to fundraise through our events. It’s this income which keeps the charity operating.

"This donation will enable us to keep welcoming beneficiaries for physiotherapy, training, mentoring, advice and support and help them get busy living again."

David Thomas, chief executive of Barratt Developments, said: “We have launched the Barratt Foundation to help us provide more support to charities like The Matt Hampson Foundation, which do such important and valuable work in our communities. We are delighted to be donating to them as part of £500,000 we are giving to charity to mark both the launch of the Foundation and building our 500,000th home.”
